" Lump Bound" We added another boat to our fleet in Venice, Louisiana: ( Ocean Hunter ) a few months ago and today we got to see if it was able to live up to the expectations and be able to carry all the weight of the fish back to the dock. Well I will just say the boat handled well. As for being able to carry weight I will have to try again another time!
We fished the lump with the other 70 plus boats and caught nothing. We gave it all we had and then we left to troll some rigs to see if we could find some Wahoo and that did not happen either. There were a few Black fin tuna busting off some of the rigs we were trolling but their minds were not on eating anything except the little fry that was hiding under the grass patches floating by. We finally decided to head back to the dock with our hopes high for the next day of fishing in beautiful Venice, Louisiana.
