BAJA PIRATES OF LA PAZ

3rd week April

It was great fishing for all our friends this week

with lots of fish in the water willing to bite.

This week the most productive area was Tintorera

Rock south of Espiritu Santo Island.  Iron jigs

in green and yellow where the hot items to use.

The start of last week was great with light winds

form south in the morning, but mid-week strong

winds from the northeast at about 15 knots started

blowing, forcing our clients to stay at the dock.

It wasn’t until the last a couple of days of the week

that they were able to go out and catch their limits,

enough to fill their coolers. THE PIRATES DID

IT AGAIN, everybody left with full coolers

of great eating fish.

Yellowtail, pargo and dorado were all biting, but

the cabrillas were the main catch this past week

and they were big, some over 30 pounds.

With the help of our friends from Oregan we now

have our smoker set up and ready to offer you the

opportunity to have us smoke your fish.  We have

tried out various receipes on a variety of fish and

everything taste great.

Tina Disney and Renzo Papucci are pictured with some of the fish

they caught aboard Emil P with Captain Memo.  They fished Espiritu

Santo Island catching a mixed bags of dorado, pargo, cabrilla

and yellowtail.

The Abate Team from Sand Diego fished with us for their first

time and they did excellent.  They fished with Captain Luis on one

of our 210s.  They caught their limit of cabrilla and yellowtail

every day.
